Direction of Travel is a newspaper about airline maps and the culture of flying, published twice a year by Good Caesar. It's a love letter to the rich visual history of flying. Airlines have been charting their networks since the birth of powered flight, but their maps have been a little overlooked.
We designed and developed its website, a custom Shopify implementation. The site acts as the primary digital home the project alongside the Discover site.

To accompany the newspaper, we developed a platform where you can explore vintage airline maps in all their glorious print detail. This platform is not meant to compete with its printed cousin but rather provide a unique online experience.
